Student Employment Program Components

Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP)
Interested in learning more about BPA and earn money at the same time? BPA’s STEP program provides an opportunity for students to earn money, continue their education, train with professionals, and combine academic study with on-the-job experience. Work does not have to be related to the student's academic or career goals. Students may work part time when school is in session and full time during vacation periods. Students can be hired for the summer or for as long as they are an eligible student.

Student Career Experience Program (SCEP or co-op)
Or maybe you’re thinking more long-term. In that case, you’ll like our SCEP/Co-op program. They’re not only paid positions with full benefits, but SCEP positions are also eligible for tuition assistance and student loan repayment at management’s discretion. More importantly you’ll receive valuable work experience directly related to your academic field of study providing you first hand experience and the opportunities to test your skills. And the best part of all is that you are already on a solid path to permanent employment since BPA’s SCEP program is the primary source for external recruitment for entry-level hires.
