BPA's Diversity

BPA is a utility business, but we are also a Federal agency, and what separates us from being just another utility is that we are in the business of public service. We are nonprofit and we believe we have a mandate to provide value, great value, to the Pacific Northwest. To do this, we must maintain a skilled, well trained, high performing work force. And, we ardently believe that's synonymous with a diverse work force. This is a fundamental bedrock belief with us and we are committed to increasing our diversity.

While there are strong signs that we are making progress, we do recognize that it is still not enough. Our commitment to improving our diversity from both a recruitment perspective, understanding and respecting differences, and in creating opportunities for advancement will continue to be our utmost goal.
